The association offers sake courses for professionals in the drinks industry, as well as for those who are just interested in learning more about Japanese sake. The course offers certification in the sake industry. It is aimed to those wishing to become qualified to teach others about sake, understand the culture behind the drink, gain the knowledge of sake manufacture, learn the history of Japanese Sake, perfect their knowledge of tasting and learn to distinguish the different types and categories of sake.〔(Wacky rices - A Sake Sommelier Course )〕
